Architecture

OBJECTIVE & CHARACTERISTICS

          To respond to the requirements of human life, the physical environment, and lifestyles the program in Architecture integrates the scientific and artistic knowledge.  Students study and analyze the relationship between architecture and a particular context to create the architectural design concept. Also, students analyze important issues such as value, esthetic of space, material, lighting, sense and perception.  Each graduate is required to have the potentiality to be an architect who can work in an architectural oriented environment with work skills and professional knowledge.

Characteristics:

  1. The Architecture department understands the needs of young college students and will, occasionally make exceptions, to accommodate those needs.
  2. The department maintains a high quality instruction and research courses       with a balance between research, teaching and service appropriate to the institution.
  3. Students accomplish the stated program and learning goals.

Courses

          The Architecture department was founded in 2004 under the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture. The students can choose either to attend the day classes or the evening classes. The department continues to develop.

          Courses include Architectural Design, Thai Architecture, Interior Design, Site Planning, Construction Technology, Structure, Computer-Aided Architectural Design and Drafting, Analysis and Cost Estimation, Program Analysis and Construction Management. The 5- year program is designed to teach architectural professional skills. 

Facilities

          The facilities of this department are the Architectural Design Studio, Art Studio, Urban Design Studio, Computer Room, IT Room, Lecture Room, Wind Cave Lab, Energy Lab, Model Workshop, Exhibition Hall, Thesis Presentation Hall, Auditorium and Library
